The Yamaha P-145 features a weighted, synthetic keyboard with 88 keys (Graded Hammer Compact). This new GHC keyboard provides the realistic and comfortable playing feel of an actual acoustic piano. The keyboard is more compact than its predecessors but delivers performance comparable to earlier models.
The Yamaha P-145 uses piano sounds recorded from the Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand piano, the predecessor of the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. These samples offer a clear, transparent tone with rich overtones and sound powerful and full across the entire range.
The Yamaha P-145 is compatible with Yamaha's free Smart Pianist app. Simply download the app to your smartphone or tablet and connect it to the instrument. With this app, you can easily control various instrument sounds and access sheet music for the built-in songs. The app also features an extensive Piano Room function for adjusting the sound quality and resonance of the piano sound. Connection is possible via cable or wirelessly using the Yamaha UD-BT01 adapter.
If you want to set up the Yamaha P-145 as a piece of furniture, you can combine it with the optional L-100 stand.
