Piano's Maene Limburg

Our showroom in Limburg is located in the old Paterskerk of Oud-Rekem. On two floors you will find all our brands with both new and second-hand, acoustic and digital pianos and grand pianos.

The historic location: the Paterschurch of Old-Rekem

In 1707 the Friars Minor built their own monastery and church to the west of the village center of Oud-Rekem. This picturesque village near Lanaken was voted "most beautiful village in Flanders" a few years ago. The last fathers left Rekem in 2004, and shortly afterwards the monastery was demolished. Only the Paterskerk, which has been protected since 1994, remained. Pianos Maene bought this church in 2016 and converted it inside into a piano center. An additional floor was created, which contains a concert space. You look out on the monumental Clerinx organ , the icing on the cake in this beautiful historic building. Of course the entire renovation was done with respect for the building and its past. Come and admire this beautiful location!

Henk Swinnen is responsible for managing the Limburg branch of Piano's Maene in the Paterskerk in Oud-Rekem. He studied music and worked as a manager of orchestras at home and abroad. At Pianos Maene, he is also product specialist for the Chris Maene Straight Strung Concert Grand.

Practical - accessibility

Our Limburg location, in the Paterskerk of Oud-Rekem, is close to the exits of the E314/E313 motorway and the cities of Maasmechelen, Maastricht, Maaseik, Hasselt and Genk. There is ample parking in the vicinity of the church and the location is accessible to wheelchair users. Because of its location on the three countries point, the location is easily accessible from the Netherlands (Brabant and Dutch Limburg), Germany and Wallonia (from Liège it is only a 35 minute drive). Our piano consultants speak Dutch, French and English.
