The Casio PX-S5000 is a compact and budget-friendly portable digital piano that still has a lot of premium features to offer. The hybrid keyboard with wood inlay ensures precise touch, while the Multi-Dimensional Morphing Air beautifully mimics the sound of an acoustic grand piano. With its glossy black touch-control panel and gold lettering, this piano exudes pure sophistication, making it look great both at home and on stage.
A sustain pedal is included with the PX-S5000 as standard. You can optionally combine this instrument with the CS-68 stand and/or SP-34 triple pedal unit.
The PX-S5000 uses the Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard that allows for highly expressive playing. The white keys are made of a hybrid material of spruce and resin. There is a natural relief of ivory in the key surface. The black keys have a black finish that feels like ebony. Finally, all 88 keys of the keyboard are individually weighted. All this ensures that the playing feel of a real acoustic grand piano is recreated in a very realistic and authentic way.
The PX-S5000 features 2 built-in speakers that provide a balanced sound with powerful, deep bass and clear, vibrant treble. Thanks to the advanced Multi-Dimensional Morphing Air sound source with expanded memory, piano sounds are enriched with additional detail, depth and resonance.
The PX-S5000 offers three beautiful grand piano sounds and twenty more samples, including electric pianos, strings, harpsichord and more. You can even merge two samples for unique sound combinations, and split the keyboard to play bass notes in the low register while playing another sound in the high register.
The PX-S5000 comes with Casio's WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter, giving the piano both Bluetooth Audio and MIDI capabilities. Bluetooth lets you stream audio from your mobile device directly to the piano's surround sound system. You can also connect to numerous creative music apps . In addition, you can use the Bluetooth feature to communicate with the Casio Music Space App, which allows you to control the piano through your smart device's touchscreen. The app also has numerous educational and interactive features for (beginning pianists) such as the Piano Roll function, Score Viewer and Live Concert Simulator.
