Three generations, one love: the piano
Piano’s Maene was founded in 1938 by Albert Maene and Zulma Doutreloigne. In 1984, their son, Chris Maene, became managing director. Meanwhile, more than 85 years after its founding, the family business has grown into a forward-looking enterprise with approximately 90 employees (20 of whom are in the Netherlands) and eight locations in Belgium and the Netherlands. A passion for music and pianos is the team's primary driving force. With Dominique and Frederic Maene (third generation) and a structured management team, the company is ready for the future.
The customer is at the heart of everything we do. Direct customer contact and personalized service ensure that the customer feels just as much a king as in 1938, when Albert and Zulma welcomed their customers to their home with coffee and cake.
